Our Story
Welcome to Happy Little Turtle!
Happy Little Turtle was founded with a deep-rooted passion for animals and a commitment to environmental education. Our founder, with academic background in Zoology and Ecology coupled with extensive experience in the environmental sector, embarked on a journey to inspire others to appreciate and protect wildlife.
Driven by the desire to make a difference, our founder witnessed firsthand the impact of plastics and pollution on wildlife during travels across Australia and Asia. This experience ignited a mission to empower communities to take action, starting from their own backyards. Established on the Sunshine Coast in 2018, Happy Little Turtle aims to provide inclusive nature education experiences for all community groups.
Our focus is on introducing participants to Australia's native animals and fostering a sense of connection and stewardship for the environment. At Happy Little Turtle, we believe that everyone, regardless of age, ability or background, can play a role in protecting our native fauna. Join us in our mission to make a positive impact on the world around us, one small step at a time.
